La gran cantidad de marcas automotrices chinas que se instalaron en América Latina no solo lo hicieron las marcas Chery, Changan, Geely, SMA, MG, BYD, Hafei, Great Wall, ZX Autos y JAC, a la vez que hacen su debut otras empresas chinas, Jinbei, Dongfeng y Changfeng. Todas ellas presentaron sus novedades para fin del 2008 y el 2009.
